The Warrington Fund has been created through the transfer of two dormant Warrington Trusts Funds. This programme is specifically for projects in Warrington supporting people over the age of 50.

This programme is specifically for projects in Warrington supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable older people (over the age of 50) affected by the Covid-19 crisis.
This may include:
  • Bereavement support
  • Counselling
  • Befriending
  • Giving confidence to older people to re-join social activities (when the social distancing guidelines allow).

Who Can Apply
Both charities and social enterprises in Warrington can apply.

Grant size
Grants of between £1 and £2,000 are available over one year.

The Grant Making Principles and Warrington Fund Criteria are there to help you prepare your application.

Deadline
We hold bi-monthly Panel meetings at the end of these months: February, April, June, August, October and December

The deadline for applications is midnight on the 15th of each month in which a panel is being held.

Outcome
  • We aim to provide an outcome of your application within six weeks to eight from receipt of a complete application (including receipt of the required documents)
